All group fitness classes are offered in-person, virtually at regularly scheduled times, or on-demand from our video library. Our Fitness Club IS open when it is safe for people to get back together indoors.
As we age, our muscle mass begins to decrease. Muscle is an essential contributor to our balance and bone strength–it keeps us strong.
At Total Fitness For Life (formerly Cosmic Energy Fitness Studio), we have a variety of classes that meet the need of the active older adults. Join the fun, friendly senior community and take care of your health. Our instructors are certified and specialize in SENIOR FITNESS training. We accept members of the Silver Sneakers, Prime Silver & Fit, and Active & Fit programs.
SILVER SNEAKERS® CLASSIC MOVEMENT is designed to increase strength, range of movement and performance in activities for daily living.
SENIOR CARDIO JAM is choreographed using low-impact movements that focus specifically on building cardio endurance.
STRENGTH & BALANCE is a class that helps you improve total body strength. Exercises include lifting weights and doing body-weight exercises. This class will also practice balance poses.
TOTAL BALANCE FLEXIBILITY is a class that helps you increase core flexibility and improve your posture and balance.
CHAIR YOGA, practiced in a chair, is specially designed for Seniors, including those with physical challenges. It focuses on stretching, toning and balancing. Class includes seated, standing and balance poses.
LINE DANCE features fun choreographed dance routines that challenge the brain agility and balance. This class is led by Jane Carter.

YOGA | YOGALATES
There are many roads to fitness, including the ancient practice of Yoga, a combination of breathing and subtle movements, and Yogalates, which fuses two exercise disciplines: Yoga and Pilates.
YOGA. There are many benefits derived from the practice of Yoga, including increased flexibility, improved breathing, posture, energy and vitality, management of stress levels, increased muscle strength and tone, among many others. These classes are led by Mindi Signon.
YOGALATES, is fitness discipline where Yoga meets Pilates to create an atmosphere that is perfect for all fitness levels- from beginner to fitness enthusiast. The Yogalates blend, led by T’Ronda Flagg of OneLove Fitness, takes the best from Hatha Yoga and Pilates to create a flow that allows you to strengthen and tone your entire body with just one class each week. Ideal for weight loss, to boost metabolism, for total body conditioning, and core strengthening.
If rythym rules your life, then Zumba® and Dance are for you!!
ZUMBA® FOR ALL FITNESS LEVELS, where every class feels like a party! Led by experienced Zumba® instructor Diosiris (Dio) Sierra Visbal, enjoy classes for all fitness levels, all centering around positive energy, visual connection, corporal communication and choreography. Dio brings the “WOW” factor to each and every Zumba® class. This video features her Zumba® Gold class for older adults.
DANCE WITH PATRICE is led by Patrice Peters, who will teach any format that has a hard beat. From Kickboxing, Pound, Zumba®, Step, Caribbean Dance, Urban Rebounding, HIIT, to Spin, and just about any class with music that can rigorously move the body. Patrice is regularly featured on the TV program, “Atlanta & Company,” where she is an Independent Fitness Consultant.
